 Anenome pavonina 'Barr Salmon'Anenome pavonina 'Barr Salmon' is a salmon coloured form released in 1999 from stock built up from just one tuber 26 years previously. Lady (Christine) Skelmersdale of Broadleigh Gardens who specialise in small bulbs included this fine form in her Autumn catalogue of that year. "We were given some coloured forms of Anenome pavonina shortly after we started the business and this was the only one to survive. "It remained as a single plant in the nursery for many years, always admired but rather ignored until 5 years ago when we decided to actively propagate it as it was always one of the most popular plants with visitors". There were very small stocks available that year as you would imagine, and it cost £4.00 / $8.00 / €6 per plant.
