![]() ASTRANTIA major 'Gill Richardson' is perhaps the deepest crimson form of the dark red Astrantias so far. It has black tips to the deeply coloured flowers and almost black stems. It will flower at about 70cm high from May through to July, and is named after the famed plantswoman Gill Richardson in Lincolnshire, England. Available in the UK from 2005 onwards it was first shown at Chelsea Flower Show 2004 in some of the display gardens and also on the Howard Nurseries display. A great selection!
