 Heucherella 'Sunspot'x Heucherella 'Sunspot' is a sport of x Heucherella 'Dayglow Pink', a variety known for its bright pink flowers on dark stems. x That was a originally cross hybridisation between a Heuchera and a Tiarella by Dan Heims and his team at Terra Nova Nurseries in Oregon USA - who spotted this mutation too. The stunning bright yellow leaves with striking red blotch marking make this one really stand out in a crowd! Plants grow to to about 25cm x 40cm (9in x 1.2ft) and have bright pink, tubular bell-shaped flowers which appear from spring to autumn. It's best in dappled shade to prevent the leaves from scorching. Quite a breeding breakthrough!
