 Calocephalus brownii 'Challenge'Calocephalus brownii 'Challenge' is from a Florensis breeding project and was introduced in Holland at the Plantarium 2004 plant trade festival. It belongs to the family of Asteraceae and also known under the synonym Leucophyta brownii. In comparison with the standard selection, 'Challenge' this one stands out because of its more compact plant habit with the short internodes and unique leaf shape combined with the intense silver colour making 'Challenge' a unique ornamental plant. Calocephalus brownii 'Challenge' is suited for planting out in borders, in mixed containers and as a solitary plant in pots.
