![]() This is a fine new double Cowslip released by Blooms of Bressingham (RA Meredith / Blooms Wholesale) in the UK in 1999. Bred by UK National Collection Holder of Garden Auriuculas Mr Geoff Nicolle it is named after his grand-daughter and re-creates one of the double flowered cowslips first recorded in the 17th century. It has a fine scent too and is a vigorous grower and available in much larger number since 2000 and also in other territories yet to be announced. It was originally brought to Blooms in 1992 as one plant and stock has been gradually been built up to be able to release the plant this year. Originally featured in Issue 16 of PLANTS magazine.
